We are focussed upon, and support, the development and expansion of bilateral investment, trade, commerce and understanding between Australia and Kuwait
AKBC maintains and fosters the relationship with Australian and Kuwaiti Government agencies and businesses in matters relating to investment, trade, commerce and understanding between our two great nations.
ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT
Simon Harrison LLB (Hons.) LSF, HC is the Chairman and National President of the Australia Kuwait Business Council (AKBC) and leads AKBC
Simon’s relationship with Kuwait dates back over many years during which he has lived and worked in both regions and has managed major investment projects for nations’ Governments and corporate sectors. Simon is also an Honorary Consul and a Chair of the Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a member of the Export Council of Australia.
Simon has delivered business and major project seminars across the world. He is also an international lawyer of 30 years having practiced in the Gulf, Europe, The United States and Australia.
